Elizabeth Arden – Beautiful Colour – Maxium Volume Mascara

I’m forever on the hunt for a really fabulous mascara.  Something that gives me VA-VA-Voom without clumping and flaking off onto my face.  When searching for a mascara I have a wish list of things I love.

  • NO clumping
  • ease of usuage
  • Great wand application
  • volumizing, natural colour (black/brown)

Finding all of those attributes in one mascara is usually difficult. But I was lucky enough to be given the Elizabeth Arden – Beautiful Colour – Maxium Volume Mascara by Travis the manager of the Shopper’s Drug Mart in Park Royal, West Vancouver.

I have very sparse lashes and mostly in part from abuse of continuous misusage of false lashes. But that’s a whole different post altogether. With that being said volume is REALLY important to me. My initial impression of Elizabeth Arden’s Beautiful Colour mascara was WOW!  The product goes on effortlessly and is easy to use. I know I’m not the only one who struggles with getting things too close to my eyes.

You are also able to notice the volumizing of the mascara after one application. Beautiful colour lifts and separates the lashes without clumping or drying into a crusty mess. I found if I needed added volume I was able to build up the mascara without worrying about product packed onto my lashes. You are actually using way less product than most mascara.

Also a huge plus is the fact that this mascara’s wand is small and delicate enough to use on the lower lashes to give them shape and volume. I find the bottom lashes are often neglected.  Elizabeth Arden is sold exclusively at most Shopper’s Drug Mart locations or online at beautyboutique.ca. You are also able to find this product at The Hudson Bay Company as well.
