My Everyday Makeup- In pictures

While getting ready to go out today for a little shopping. I thought it would be a good idea to show my everyday make up in pictures. Scroll down to see a very playful step by step account of my everyday makeup. Let me know if i’ve missed a step or two.

STEP 1.)

When applying my makeup. I always start with a clean, freshly washed face. after which i moisturize my face and then follow with a primer. Today i’m wearing my Smashbox’s Photo finish primer in LIGHT.

STEP 2.)

First I apply my concealer. Today’s concealer is Urban Decay – Naked in the shade-DARK.

Make Sure you blend your conceal or out with a damp beauty blender or conceal or brush. Finger work as well…but not as effective as a beauty blender.

STEP 3.)

Brows – I’m really bad at this but practice makes things better. I fill my brows with my Lancome brow pencil. Perhaps the best brow pencil I’ve ever used. Heavily pigmented goes on creamy but dries into a soft powder.

STEP 4.)

Foundation – Chanel – Le Teint Ultra Tenue – chocolate – This is my all time favourite foundation and goes on flawlessly. Since it’s a little on the higher end side. I try not to use this everyday.

STEP 5.)

Lipstick – I love a great pigmented lipstick. Today’s lipstick will be capricious by M.A.C. This is a great nude/pink for darker skin.

STEP 6.)

MASCARA! – Benefit makes great product. This mascara is great for all day wear but not waterproof. Which isn’t ideal if you happen to cry a lot. LOL! I love the name ” BAD GAL!”  Am I the only one that is hopeless at applying mascara, I alway seem to get it on my face.

STEP 7.)

Eyeliner. – Sephora’s liquid liner works well for this. It’s easy to use and dries beautifully. These liners come in a variety of colours and last quite a long time.

STEP 8.)

Contour – Contouring today with Anastasia Beverly Hills contouring palette.

STEP 9.)

Laura Mercier -Loose setting powder – This is great for setting your makeup. making sure it stays in place all day.

STEP 10.)

Highlight- I couldn’t find my go to Highlight so this gold eye shadow will have to do.

  • Note when highlighting with eyeshadows be as light on the hand as possible.

ALL DONE!

(My eyeliner is a bit crooked. I didn’t want to redo it or add a different picture from a different day as that would be cheating!.)

And there you have it guys – My everyday make up in PICSSS!! Please leave a comment below and let me know what you think.
