I recently got a chance to try new products from the Antipodes skincare line. Last year I wrote a review on three of their products which I’ve kept in my skincare rotation. If you’ve like to read a brief overview of those you can here.
Who is Antipodes?
Antipodes is a Green Beauty company from New Zealand which uses natural, organic and scientific plant powered ingredients to create their line of luxury skincare. Every item is vegetarian, vegan approved and cruelty free.
- Antipodes Halo Skin – Brightening Facial Mud Mask
- Antipodes Culture Probiotic Recovery Water Cream
- Antipodes Divine Face Oil ( Recap in the video below)
Antipodes Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream.
Culture Probiotic Night Water Cream is a water based night moisturizing cream. Made with good bacteria, hyaluronic acid and mamaku black fern. The cream is a beautiful consistency with a heavenly light lavender colour. Culture cream works while you’re sleeping and I’m totally into that. I’ve been using it for a few days and will give a follow up review (I promise).
Culture Probiotic Night Recovery Water Cream uses Kalibiome AGE Probiotic which is a high preforming indgredient that helps to increase the hydration of your skin. This helps reduces the look of tiredness and dullness overtime. This cream also contains hyaluronic acid which is found in the skin, hyaluronic acid is water based and helps promote healthier looking skin, reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles overtime giving you more supple youthful looking skin.
I had to do a little research on Mamaku Black Fern extracts and it’s benefits since it was an ingredient I was not familiar with. I’ve learned that Mamaku Black Fern is an extract that has been used in the traditional herbal medicines of the Maori people for a long time. The extract is a gel like substance which has powerful properties of being moisturizing and soothing when applied to the skin .
Overall, this night recovery cream has all the right substance and I can’t wait to share my final findings and thoughts.
Antipodes Halo Skin- Brightening Facial Mud Mask
I was really excited for this mud mask, made with Manuka honey which is a natural antibacterial superfood, Vinanza grapes, kiwi, prized peony and of course volcanic mud. I have combination skin but a bit more on the oily side. So a mud mask is always great to pull some gunk from my pores. I found after using this product my skin was noticeably brighter and so very smooth. I finished it up with a bit of the Divine Face Oil for moisture.
I’ve also uploaded an unboxing and live review over on my YouTube channel .
Have you had a chance to try any of the products from the Antipodes line of Skincare? What is your number go to in your skincare line up?
