Antipodes Skincare Review

A few weeks ago, I introduced three new products to my skincare routine. I’m a lover of natural skincare, environmentally responsible brands as well as products that actually work. This is my first experience with Antipodes Skincare.

Who is Antipodes ?

Antipodes is a Green Beauty company from New Zealand which uses natural, organic and scientific plant powered ingredients to create their line of luxury skincare. Every item is vegetarian, vegan approved and cruelty free. A personal plus for me is that all the containers which the company uses are glass containers which can be repurposed later and this significantly diminishes waste in our household. WIN!!

The three products I’ll be discussing are:

  • Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream
  • Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream
  • Divine Face Oil

Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream – $70.00

I was most excited to try the Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream, I usually forget the night time portion of my skincare routine. Avocado Pear nourishing Night Cream contains Avocado oil which is very hydrating and nourishing to the skin and rich in antioxiandents., Vinanza Grape which helps with the firmness and elasticity of the skin. When you open the container, you are greeted with the most soothing aromas of ylang ylang, patchouli and sandalwood, As someone who is immensely sensitive to scents this is not at all overpowering and quite calming. I use a two pea size amounts before bed on my face and neck area. A little goes a long way, I started noticing some difference to the overall look of my skin during the first week.

Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream – $66.00

Being in my mid thirties an eye cream is a staple in my makeup kit. This eye cream is very light and feels lovely on the skin. my eye area is visibly brighter after just a few days of usage. Best of all it wears well beneath my makeup, there is no slippage or oily residues which is fantastic. The active ingredients in the product are avocado oil with it’s nourishing and hydrating qualities, Vitamin E and C, Kiwi fruit which delivers the soothing and cooling feel. There is no added fragrance,But there is a pleasing scent from all the combined natural ingredients.

Divine Face Oil – Rosehip & Avocado Oil – $62.00

Divine Face oil is a great facial oil for all skin types even the most sensitive of skin types. A  good blend of Avocado oil, Macedonian nut oil and Rosehip Oil. Very gentle and dries down after uses. Which prevents that greasy heavy with oil feeling on the skin. I found this works well if you have sun damage or just need healthier looking skin. Face oils are a great way to hydrate your skin and reduce the look of fine lines, wrinkles and stressed skin.
