I was lucky enough to be sent Nivea’s complete line of Q10 Plus Skincare for testing purposes from Chickadvisor.com. Below is my honest review of the product line. 💕
Nivea Body Lotion:
The Nivea Body Lotion Q10 with Creatine is a lightweight lotion with a light fresh floral scent. The lotion goes on smoothly and penetrates to the inner layers of the skin. This lotion is meant to create elasticity of the skin and also improves firmness over time. I’ve been testing this lotion for a couple of weeks and I can honestly say I love it. I do feel the moisturizing effects of the lotion. It doesn’t leave your body feeling greasy or leaves residues on your clothing. I love the fresh scent as well, As far as increasing the elasticity of the skin, I believe that is something I will have to attest to overtime. But I have now added this to my daily skincare routine and have been applying twice daily as the instructions suggest. I had to do some research on the “Creatine” factor in the lotion. I don’t know about you guys but I was a little confused as I thought this was just a supplement bodybuilders took and wanted to know how it ended up in Nivea’s Body lotion.
Turns out, Cosmetically speaking Creatine added in beauty products does the following;
- Protects cells from sun damage caused by harmful UV RAYS
- Improves skin firmness
- Repairs skin
- Decreases the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Which is everything Nivea promises in this wonderful lotion.
Nivea Anti-Age Hand Cream:
I suffer from extremely dry hands, This is due to constant over washing from having little ones. I find that in between my fingers are often the driest with my skin becoming cracked and scaly. I often times opt not to use hand cream because I simply do not like that greasy feeling on my hands and having it transferred to objects I may be touching. Well, it isn’t so with the Nivea Q10 hand cream. It hydrates moisturizes and keeps my hands looking supple all day long. I’m able to apply this a couple times per day. My hands do look noticeably younger. And also feel softer. I’m often very shy about the way my hands look but this does work! And you are able to notice the differences within the two week time period! Win!
Nivea Firming Body Oil with Q10 & Avocado Oil (All Skin Types)
I was most excited about this body oil because it promised to reduce the look of stretch marks and help firms the skin. Any mom knows that after a baby the body just doesn’t seem to want to cooperate in some areas. I’ve been using Nivea’s Body Oil as soon as I get out of the shower for optimal result. Since I’ve never used a body oil before I wasn’t sure what to expect. The body oil goes on a little oil as to be expected but dries nicely without leaving you feeling GREASY! I hate that feeling. I used it on my stretch marks, I haven’t noticed the reduction in the look of the stretch marks but I do notice the firmer feeling in my skin. I do believe this oil in conjunction with diet and exercise will aid in smoother firmer skin.
All in all Nivea has proven they are makers of quality skincare I would recommend this product line as a daily staple in your skincare routine. Let me know if you’ve tried this and what your thoughts are on the comments.
