September, September

So in my last post I said I was preparing to be inspired by going to my friends art show, which I was very inspired. But I left with a lot more than inspiration. I left with a good dose of nostalgia, I had completely forgotten how much fun and hard work, I had put into art school and how lucky I was to be one of 34 applicants to make it into the program at only 18 years old at the time. I’ve come a long way…baby.

That last line was from a cigeratte ad i saw in a magazine a long time ago when I was kid. I’ll never forget it she was wearing a yellow dress, all done up and sitting at a bar with a camel.

Anyways,  at only 26 my biggest obstacle was and will always be me. I can only go as far as I push myself. I say this all the time but it really is true. It was great to see all my old friends and touch bases and to see the great art by Ben. He is so talented. I’ve included a few photos.

I’m excited to see what’s to come artistic wise for me in the future.
