I’ve been searching for a lightweight yet full coverage foundation for some time. I’ve never used anything from Stila except their lip products so you can imagine my excitement to test out this foundation.

I went to Shopper’s Drug Mart in Park Royal and had one of the beauty consultants  in their beauty boutique matched my shade and basically go over some of the benefits of this specific foundation. The shade I ended up purchasing was DARK.

Advanced multi-reflective colour pigments play with light to instantly even skin tone and reduce the appearance of imperfections.

Contains an Electrolyte Balance System, a carefully combined complex Ionized Water, advance Hyaluronic Acid and essential minerals to help hydrate and nourish for skin that glows with healthy radiance.

My First Impressions:

The syringe like applicator makes it easy to get the product out of the bottle.

I found the foundation a little watery right out of the gate. But being it’s a medium to full coverage. You have to give it a chance. It’s buildable so you are able to achieve coverage in the areas you need it most.

I’ve left one of the tattoos uncovered so you are able to see how well this foundation actually covers up everything without being too HEAVY

I love the fact that it drys down nice and evenly with a bit of a glow. Which will liven up dull skin during the harsh fall/winter months, and this is ODOURLESS. This wears easily throughout the day with just a little powder to touch you up after a couple hours.

A huge plus is there is little to no transfer or rubbing off of your foundation your clothes. I find with a lot of dark foundation there is a ton of transfer unto your garments. I found this evened out my skin tone which is a huge plus since I have hyper pigmentation around the lips and darkness under my eyes.

Final Thoughts:

Would  I purchase this again. Certainly, It was an affordable buy at $30.00 and with the help of the Stila consultant at Shopper’s it made choosing this foundation so much more simple with the comfort that knowing with certainty this is the correct shade for you.
