Orange is such a hard colour to wear! But once you’ve got a shade of orange that matches your skin tone and personality. You are in the clear. I bought this CHANEL ROUGE DOUBLE INTENSITÉ Ultra Wear Lip Colour in 105 Curious Orange this past winter with the intention of wearing it in the summer. Because who wears orange lipstick in the winter?
CHANEL ROUGE DOUBLE INTENSITÉ Ultra Wear is a double ended long wearing lip stick with intense pigmented lip colour on one end and gloss on the other.
The colour I choose was 105 Curious Orange. This colour just stands out so amazingly against my skin tone and makes my lips pop.
The application:
Colour goes on creamy and dries down matte. But you have to work fast with this lip colour as it dries quickly. Which may create streaking. That aside this is a gorgeous high quality lipstick which lives up to the name of INSTENSITE ULTRA WEAR. My lip colour stayed on all day. I only needed to reapply the gloss after eating, which is to be expected.
At $48.00CAD the pricing is a little steep for just one lipstick, but keep in mind Chanel is a higher end brand. I feel as though the quality and pigmentation of the lipstick is well worth it. I purchased mine at Shopper’s Drug Mart in Park Royal. Unfortunately, for some reason Chanel has stopped production on the 105 Curious Orange, But there are 12 other colours to choose from.
