In the interest of spending less this month, I want to share with you the products I’ve used to completion. I sometimes get caught in the cycle of constantly wanting to try new products, as I’m sure we all do. However, this year, I’m making a conscious effort to use the things I have until they expire or are finished.

Here are some products I’ve used up this month:

CeraVe Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser:

• The perfect cleanser for everyone in the family, especially effective for waterproof makeup like mascara. It doesn’t dry out the skin, although I don’t find it very hydrating. This isn’t an issue for me as I usually follow up with my skincare routine after washing. I would definitely repurchase this.

EOS Shea Butter 24HR Moisture Shaving Cream:

• I absolutely loved this shaving cream. A little goes a long way, and it lasted me quite a while. All shaved areas were left moisturized, and my skin felt supple after use.

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist:

• The perfect fix spray. I always buy the mini size so I can have it in my purse when I’m out. It’s also a great way to set your skincare or refresh your makeup while on the go.

NARS Weightless Luminous Foundation:

• A lightweight foundation that provides the perfect glow. Although weightless, it offers full coverage. I usually mix it with a few drops of my serum to create a BB cream effect.

Antipodes Glow Ritual Vitamin C Serum:

• A fabulous vitamin C serum with hyaluronic acid. I love how it brightened and enriched my skin, but I disliked the gold tint it had. The gold tint made my face appear shinier than I would like, but the benefits made it worth it.

VICHY Purete Thermale 3in 1:

• I didn’t finish this product. I’m throwing it out because it didn’t work for me as I would like. I found that as a cleanser, it didn’t remove and cleanse the skin as advertised. I figured I’d be better off getting three separate products instead of this one. I still love VICHY; it’s just not this particular product.

Proclaim Foaming Wrap Lotion:

• If you wear wigs, braids, or other afro styles, this product is amazing. I use it to help style my wigs, and it’s great for taming flyaways or as a setting lotion. I’ve already bought two more.
