Spring has sprung and it’s time for a wardrobe change over. I’m a little late to the game, but better late than never. In the warmer months, I love wearing dress and skirts. Mainly because I have long legs and rarely find shorts which fit my waist to length proportions appropriately, It’s a struggle. I wanted to showcase some of my favourite spring dresses all of which I’ve had for a while with the exception of one.
I bought this dress on sale at Old Navy a few years back. I loved the three quarter length sleeves and the striped pattern. Stripes has been a pattern I tend to stay away from but this dress was way too cute. It’s great for those spring days which start out feeling like winter and end hot as heck.
Everyone knows I love daisies! When I saw local Vancouver designer Tilda from TK by Tilda posted about this dress I bought it immediately. It’s a beautiful blue tunic style dress with pockets. It can be worn as a strapless dress as well. I love the length and comfort and will likely live in this all summer long.
As you guys can tell, I love a good tunic style dress. This dress is light and airy with the three quarter length sleeves yet again. I’ve had this dress for a number of years and love the gauze/cotton material which it’s made out of. Uf you’ve been following/reading my blog for a long time you will recognize this dress from photoshoots I’ve done in the past.
This dress is fairly impractical but I still love it. I typically wear this dress if we go to the lake or the beach. Sure, I get a lot of looks but I still wear it proudly. The dress is a soft tulle dress with a little tunic underneath. The tunic itself is fairly ill fitting and I’ve decided to cut it out and repurpose the dress into something else.
