The most important part of your summer skincare routine is your sunscreen. Sunscreen is essential to help block out harmful UV Rays from the sun. I usually choose a sunscreen with a high SPF. I was so happy to partner with Neutogrena Canada to try the Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen. Hydro Boost has a high SPF of 50.

  • Broad spectrum SPF 50 sun protection
  • Hydrates skin for 8 hours
  • Non-greasy and oil-free sunscreen

The first thing I noticed about this sunscreen was the lightweight feel. Hydro boost acts more as a lotion and less as a sunscreen in the consistency department . Whenever I apply sunscreen I usually have a white cast on my skin which I have to massage in. If you have darker skin you know what I mean.melanin, just natoya, natoyaista, natoya ellis, studio natoyaista, black woman, mission bc, fraser valley, fraser valley blogger, mission bc blogger, sunscreen, summer, waterproof, skincare, makeup, partnered post,

The sunscreen massages into my skin more like a lotion.  The best part is Hydro Boost is waterproof! you are able to go swimming without worrying about your sunscreen coming off. The fine print does say though, You must reapply sunscreen if you towel dry after swimming.

Hydo Boost Sunscreen doesn’t clog pores which is fantastic for makeup application. My skin tend to be a little more oily so this is perfect beneath my foundation.  My pores are happy and my skin is hydrated for hours.

Final verdict:

I’m loving Hydro Boost. Sun protecting is so important.

Sun protection is really a must. Most people falter in reapplication especially when out and about.

I’m pretty sure I need to add this to my sunscreen arsenal. I love when they don’t add color and melt right into the skin.

Neutrogena always has quality products so I’m not surprised to hear their sunblock is a hit! I have combination skin and I’m always on the lookout for sunblock that isn’t heavy, sticky, or greasy. I’ll try this one out!

With summer coming, I need to buy something so I really appreciate this review! I hate the big white blob mess that most sunscreens leave so this sounds very promising!

I’m always eager to try a sunscreen that doesn’t include the dreaded white cast effect that seems to take forever to blend in. I’ll have to give this one a try!
