If you follow me on Instagram. This is old news to you now. This past weekend I was lucky enough to attend the Saturday show of Vancouver Fashion Week. I had a really amazing time and met some great people.
Vancouver Fashion Week is the city most prestigious fashion event. Fashion week has been running for over 20 years. And this time around it was especially busy. Being that the Juno awards were in town on the same weekend. It was as if the Who’s, Who of Canada descended upon Vancouver.
The highlight of the night for me was meeting in person. Miss J. Alexander from America’s Next Top Model. I had a bit of a fangirl moment. All those years of watching Top Model came full circle in that moment.
But rather than write about my experience. I’ve included my youtube vlog below. So you’re able to follow along with me in the moment. Nothing like sharing that in the moment excitement.
The designer line up for the night was incredible. A few I’ve heard of before and a lot more which are new to me. That’s one of the amazing things about attending a fashion show like this.

I’ve also included some photos from the night, I didn’t take as many photos as I usually do. It was incredibly busy with standing room only. So getting a shot was really difficult.
All in all, I had an amazing time. My only suggestion would be to the planning committee to consider a larger venue for the future. It seems as the popularity of the event grows. Vancouver Fashion Week is outgrowing the Chinese Cultural Centre.
