Hello Lovelies,
I thought I may do something a little different today. I went to my local Shopper’s Drug Mart and found they had replaced Gosh cosmetics with Nude by Nature. Naturally, I was intrigued by this. New makeup? I’m in! I opted to try two small items from this new to me brand. They’ve been around for some time and did a major revamp in 2008.
I picked up an eye shadow and a lip gloss. I would’ve gotten their mineral finish foundation but my local Shopper’s does not stock my shade. Whomp!

About Nude By Nature:
Nude by Nature is an Australian cosmetic company. They use natural derived ingredients to make their products.
From Nude by Nature website:
Since 2008, Nude by Nature has been dedicated to providing make-up that not only gives a beautiful, flawless look – but is also good for you. An array of formulations have been created in different finishes and shades that provide an uncompromised finish, without the toxins. Formulas are carefully developed to include powerful native Australian ingredients, while specifically omitting synthetic ones.
Packaging:
Very chic packaging, very slick yet minimalist. I’m inlove the rose gold container the eyeshadow comes in. And notice, they carry the whole rose gold theme throughout all the packing. I also like the fact the eyeshadows come with a mirror! That’s an added bonus for sure,
Eyeshadow:
The eye shadow, is a natural mineral eyeshadow and quite pigmented. Goes on a little sheer at first but is buildable and blends really well with a blending brush. Does tend to crease if you do not use a primer. But, holds up surprisingly well all day. I went to work and school and the eyeshadow didn’t budge. That’s pretty amazing to me.
Lipgloss:
I’m not usually a lipgloss kinda gal so I’m not surprised I didn’t like this. The lip gloss applies well. But is not a very pigmented gloss. I have naturally very dark lips so this maybe different for you.
I found the gloss to be too sticky and needed to be reapplied often. It didn’t make it through a cup of coffee. I would probably not buy this again.
Final Thoughts:
I don’t think I can fairly assess the brand by just two products. I do however really love the mineral eyeshadow and will be getting more shades. I’ll try to find my foundation shade at another Shoppers. I’m overall very intrigued by the brand and what they have to offer. Just not a huge fan of their glosses. There are some other lipsticks as well, so I will do a follow-up in the coming weeks.
As always, Thank you for stopping by, Please let me know if you’ve tried anything by Nude By Nature and let me know how you liked it.
PS. I’ve featured my live first impressions on my Instagram beauty highlight if you would like to see it.
