London Fog’s Mallard Cold Weather Boots.

Hello Lovelies,

As most of you know, I love a great pair of shoes. But winter boots are a new thing for me. Harsh winter conditions usually by-pass Vancouver so most of us Vancouverites constitute rain boots for winter boots.

This winter however after moving a little deeper into the Fraser Valley, I got an unfriendly dose of winter and realized damn it! I need winter boots. There was snow and of course the dreaded ice storm of 2017!

Cascare Falls – Mallard Cold Weather boots

Not to be outdone by an ice storm which left us in the dark for TWO WHOLE DAYS! I figured my cold toes in my rain boots won’t cut it. I started looking for winter boots online and quickly fell in love with these ones from London Fog.

I needed something that would be

  • Water Proof
  • Has great traction
  • Easy to Hike around in
  • COMFORTABLE
  • Last a couple winters
  • FASHIONABLE

London Fog, being an iconic brand from the 1920’s I had high hopes for the boots. Especially since I have a really warm London Fog coat I knew they produce quality I could trust. And not to mention, these boots were the only one which ticked all by boxes. I just needed nice plain yet fashionable winter boots.  Luckily these boots had even more than I bargained for. They are also

Winter is coming – Or is it already here?
  • Waterproof foot with room for socks
  • Shaft height, 6.5″
  • Leg opening circumference, 8″
  • Synthetic upper
  • Round toe
  • Lace-up vamp
  • Synthetic warm lining
  • Padded insole
  • Rubber sole
  • Fur type: dyed polar fleece

I literally did a happy dance after they came in the mail.

I found these London Fog Mallard cold weather boots The Bay . They were originally $125.00 but I paid $75.00. They didn’t have my size in store. So the sales person, ordered them for me and had them shipped directly to my door! Win!.

I didn’t read the reviews until after I wore them a bit and I found it really interesting. Most of the reviews on The Bay is from people living in Ontario and they are not loving these boots.

I live in the forest! I need good boots

I think it’s because of how different our winter is. B.C. winter is a mild -10 at the coldest where as Ontario is usually around -20. So it’s safe to say if you live out east these are not for you. Y OUR FEET WILL BE COLD. But the Mallards are great for B.C.

What are you guys wearing on your feet to keep warm this winter? I’m genuinely interested I want to know.london fog, winter boots, the bay, mission bc blogger, vancouver blogger,

Your boots look really warm though. So funny all the reviews for this boot on The Bay website is from people in Ontario and they are not good. But they work for BC. Ontario winter is something fierce

Thank you I really like them. I’ve never had a pair of boots for function. They are usually fashionable but not warm.

These are super cute! I wear my Uggs for the most part in the Winter but because we get so many chinooks here, I could really use a pair of waterproof boots that have good grips on them as the snow starts to melt and it gets icy and mucky. I’m going to look for these the next time I’m at the Bay!

I remembered my first time in Calgary experiencing a Chinook. OMG! you guys get some crazy weather out there. These are really great up to -15. There are so many great sales going on at The Bay right now
